EXPERIENCE

Senior Wireless Test Engineer, Luminate Wireless Inc                                                             June 2014 - Present

·   Member of QA team, responsible for End to End testing Enterprise based LTE solutions. Primarily focusing on testing small cell LTE Access point.

·   Roles include identifying the equipments for the test ,cost estimation, provide budget information for test team to the Management

·   Worked with automation developer in designing the Automation setup with real UEs and UE Simulators.

·   Hands on experience with working on Aeroflex UE Simulator and used its fullest extent by deriving overnight regression, sanity tests. Also identified negative tests and scripted on Aeroflex UE simulator.

·   Used python to automate post processing performance results and debugging logs.

·   Good knowledge on RRC,RLC,MAC,PHY layers on LTE Access point.

·   Used spectrum analyzer for designing, building OTA test bed setups. Built multi UE setup for both OTA and cabled test beds for testing.

System Integration Test Engineer, Spidercloud Wireless Inc                                               May 2011 – June 2014

·   Active Member of System Integration Testing and QA Team involved in testing the enterprise product end to end.

·   Responsible for building and maintaining cabled and OTA test beds to test our enterprise solutions.

·   Have  extensive knowledge on LTE and also in different  UMTS release versions R99, HSDPA, HSUPA and HSPA+ .

·   Have knowledge in RRC,RLC, MAC, Phy layer concepts of both UMTS and LTE.

·   Writing test plans and executing test cases for various feature development, KPI metrics, Regression tests for every release, negative tests and stress test by using multi UE setup.

·   Active Member of System Integration Team of LTE system Integration Testing Group involved in Mobility feature testing.

·   Worked as primary tester for Inter-frequency Inter Band Mobility feature exclusively for AT&T customer.

·   My profile involved testing all functionalities in mobility feature like Active Handover, Call Reselection, Cell Re-establishment, Cascaded HO, Blind Re-direction, S1 and X2 based HO.

·   Worked on LTE-to-eHRPD / InterRAT Mobility feature testing.

·   Have done setting up Alcatel-lucent eNodeB and CUBE from scratch.

·   Working as Point of Contact for System verification Team and OTA testing team in testing the Mobility feature.

 

 

 

System Test Engineer, Motorola Inc  (Consultant)                                             December 2008 – September 2010

·   Active Member of the Alpha Test Team of WiMAX System Integration group involved in the End to End Field Testing (OTA) for various WiMAX Releases and member of RF performance Team in LTE.

·   Did Drive Test with alpha system, responsibility includes identifying stationary test location, different Mobility test route for different speed and measured different user performances (KPI) like throughput, handover success rate and latency.

·   Have worked in TDD LTE setup and ran test cases pertaining to  Throughput performances.

·   Worked on Aeroflex Multi UE with Azimuth Emulator to run test cases on LTE Technology.

·   Upgraded and scratch installed the eNodeB in TDD and FDD environment (LTE).

·   Testing Motorola’s implementation of WiMAX System concentrating the features including mobility, QoS, idle mode by checking its adherence to the call flow described in System Architecture Documents.

·   Responsible for Regression, Minset and Exit Report testing for PHY/MAC Layers with concentration in areas of Call Processing, Throughput, Sensitivity, Power Control for various Motorola Access points (WiMAX).

·   Perform Sanity and Regression testing for WiMAX CPE’s and USB user devices.

·   Assist testing with client testing teams to reproduce and troubleshoot various customer issues.
